A Caesar Cipher is a substitution where you shift the alphabet 3 units to the right. You can shift any number of times. Once you hit a shift of 26, you are back to the original position. This can be harder if you allow other characters such as spaces, periods, question marks, etc. to be substituted. Check out a slightly more complicated caesar shift substitution.
